Wings of Time

In this city, time is governed from a single center. The clock tower continues to measure time with the same order every day. Minutes, hours, and days follow one another. Birds, on the other hand, roam freely within this order. As the clock advances, they sometimes speed up, sometimes stop, and sometimes change direction. People learn the time from the clock; birds, however, show how time passes. In this painting, the clock tower represents time, while the birds represent the flow of time.
