Story
In this weaving, I recounted the endless war between the rigid rules life imposes on us and the desire for liberation within us. The black and white grids and orderly lines represent the perfect order and frameworks expected by society. However, as an artist, I do not accept these narrow molds.
I consciously disrupt that order with colorful curves, sudden breaks, and unexpected circular forms interspersed throughout. "Broken Grid" is my way of highlighting human errors within seemingly perfect systems and the inevitable beauty of chaos.
